Do you identify as having a disability and could use some extra support? We’re here to help.
What is it?
The right place, at the right time, for the right people – counseling and guidance for people with disabilities.
A relationship built around you, your independent living goals, and the best possible outcome(s). Our VR Coordinator/Advocate meets you where you’re at and helps you access your fullest potential.
Why Vocational Rehabilitation?
We reduce barriers to independent living by facilitating connections with resources that help you to ensure success. From financial literacy programs, to advocating for individuals, to securing housing, and more – our team is ready to support you.
Here’s How We Helped Matt*.
Matt, a young man with disabilities, found himself in a common situation; he had fallen behind on rent. With rising prices in all sectors, Matt’s reality feels very much like our own – out of options and facing the reality of eviction. Our Counselor worked with him and with organizations in the community to secure his housing and help him with back-owed rent, keeping him living independently in a comfortable, familiar place – his home.
(*name changed to protect identity).
